      November 12, 2025 17:40 Incidents The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region is conducting an investigation into the employer's concealment of information about a fatal accident that occurred as a result of a road traffic collision. This was reported by the agency's press service.

      The crash occurred on October 28 at 11:45 at the 348th kilometer of the M-7 "Volga" highway in the Volodarsky municipal district. As a result of the collision of two trucks, a 52-year-old driver-expeditor for LLC "GK Kholod" sustained severe injuries.

      The injured man was taken to hospital, where doctors diagnosed a closed abdominal injury with damage to internal organs and traumatic shock. Despite the care provided, the man died that same evening.

      As established by the State Labor Inspectorate, the employer failed to report the workplace accident within the time limits required by law. Such inaction violates the requirements of Article 228.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. According to Ilya Moshes, the chief state labor inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, an official investigation has been launched. Its aim is to determine all the circumstances and causes of the tragedy.
