Roman Permyakov, a member of the Public Chamber of Nizhny Novgorod, published his 2025 activity report entirely created with the help of artificial intelligence. He announced this on his page on the social network VKontakte.
According to Permyakov, he entrusted the preparation of the document to his AI assistant, formulating the corresponding request to the neural network. He explained this step by his desire to use working time rationally and focus on key tasks.
"As is known, public activists don't have assistants, but if you promote ideas of technological advancement and efficiency, you have to be consistent. I read it and cried — how much we managed to implement in a year, and how far neural networks have progressed. After all, they really will soon start replacing real colleagues," the deputy chairman of the Public Chamber remarked ironically.
Permyakov claims that his report became the first document of its kind in the country prepared exclusively by a neural network.
The report also mentions NIA "Nizhny Novgorod", which repeatedly covered Permyakov's volunteer activities. In particular, in 2025 he organized humanitarian missions to the Donbass. Thus, ahead of the Day of National Unity on November 4, the deputy chair of the Public Chamber oversaw the dispatch of a large humanitarian shipment to the SMO zone.
Also during the year Permyakov participated in the educational projects "Znanie.Heroes" and "Znanie.State", where he shared his personal experience of volunteer work.
In June 2025 he presented an analytical review of the speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. This material was prepared for the Expert Institute for Social Research.
In addition, Permyakov coordinated the implementation of one of the most technologically advanced public monitoring systems in the country. Thanks to this, the report notes, it was possible to raise citizens' trust in electoral processes.
It was previously reported that Roman Permyakov called the election monitoring system in the Nizhny Novgorod region one of the most progressive.
