The "Lastochka" will run between Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov during the New Year holidays.

      During the New Year holidays, additional high-speed "Lastochka" trains will appear on the Gorky Railway, which will connect Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov. This was reported by the Gorky Railway.

      From December 26 of this year, train No. 746 will begin running. It will depart daily from Nizhny Novgorod at 06:00 and arrive in Kirov at 10:59. The last service is scheduled for January 12, 2026.

      In the opposite direction, train No. 745 will run. It will also operate daily until January 12, 2026. Departure from Kirov is scheduled for 17:00, arrival in Nizhny Novgorod — at 21:59.

      Earlier, the launch of a train between Nizhny Novgorod and Saransk was reported.
