A traffic light is planned to be installed near the 777th Anniversary Park in Nizhny Novgorod.

      In the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, a new traffic light is planned to be installed at the intersection of Plotnikova and Raevsky streets. This was reported by representatives of the city administration in an official statement published on social media.

      The decision is linked to appeals from local residents who expressed concern about safety at the pedestrian crossing near the 777th Anniversary Park and the physical culture and wellness complex. According to them, crossing the road at this location has become difficult and risky.

      As clarified by the mayor’s office, the section is currently not equipped with pedestrian traffic lights. Work to install and modernize the traffic light facility is included in the city’s plan of events for 2026.

      Currently, sources of funding for the project’s implementation are being sought.

      Earlier it was reported that two new traffic lights were installed near the Ice Arena on the Strelka.
