VTB introduces additional bonuses for payroll customers.

      November 5, 2025, 5:23 PM Economy VTB expands its bonus system for payroll customers. Now, each quarter they will be able to gain benefits from their regular salary credits: from increased cashback to promo codes at popular stores and services. The new mechanic will be available in a gamified format directly in the online bank. It can be found in the "Benefits" section in the web version of VTB's mobile app.

      To see the special offer, you need to scratch off the protective layer of a "scratch card" and receive an additional bonus. For example, a fifth cashback category — while payroll customers are already guaranteed four categories instead of the usual three.

      Today the service is available to some customers; its audience will be continuously expanded this year and next. "Today every third VTB customer receives their salary on the bank's card, and we are ready to reward their choice with regular bonuses. The new mechanic will turn routine interaction with the bank into a service with personal benefits. Millions of people receiving their salaries at VTB will be able to appreciate it," commented VTB board member Dmitry Breitenbicher.

      To date, more than 10 million employees of 319,000 Russian companies are payroll customers of VTB. The project provides them with an expanded package of advantages, including higher savings rates, cashback in up to 10 categories — six of which are available for maintaining balances in the current account — and free account maintenance. In 2024, VTB's payroll project was recognized as the best on the market by Frank RG.
