A woman driving a red "Tank" ran over and killed a man in the Urensky district.

      In the Urensky district of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, a fatal road traffic accident occurred. This was reported by the regional traffic police department.

      The accident occurred on November 5 at around 13:25 at the first kilometer of the road leading to the settlement of Usta from the Nizhny Novgorod – Shakhunya – Kirov highway.

      According to preliminary information, a 70-year-old woman, driving a car of the "Tank" make, lost control while negotiating a sharp turn. The vehicle veered onto the shoulder, where a man born in 1974 was standing next to a parked "Gazelle". The "Tank" first struck the man and then collided with the vehicle.

      The victim, who turned out to be the driver of the "Gazelle", sustained injuries incompatible with life. He died before the ambulance arrived.

      Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

      Earlier it was reported that two children were struck by a foreign-made car on Belinsky Street in Nizhny Novgorod.
