Nearly 13 million rubles have been allocated for the security of four dilapidated buildings in the Avtozavod district.

      November 5, 2025 17:50 Society — The Administration of the Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod plans to conclude contracts for the security of four emergency multi-apartment buildings. This is reported on the public procurement portal.

      Funding of almost 13 million rubles is provided from the city budget for 2026.

      The buildings are located at: 17 Krasnodontsev Street, 4 and 9 Ilyich Avenue, and 5 Kolomenskaya Street. All the buildings have been declared emergency structures and are subject to demolition; however, until they are torn down they will be under round-the-clock security.

      According to the documentation on the public procurement portal, each site will be guarded from January 1 to December 31, 2026. The starting price of the contracts is 3.2 million rubles per building.

      The submission of bids for security of the buildings at 17 Krasnodontsev Street and 9 Ilyich Avenue will end on November 10, and the winners will be determined on November 12. For the sites at 4 Ilyich Avenue and 5 Kolomenskaya Street, applications are being accepted until November 13, and results will be announced on November 17.

      Recall that the nine-storey building on Krasnodontsev was damaged in July 2020 as a result of a domestic gas explosion caused by violations during the connection of gas equipment. Load-bearing structures were destroyed, and experts declared the building beyond restoration. All residents were relocated — some received new apartments, others received compensation.

      It was also reported that in early November 2024 cracks appeared in the apartment building on Kolomenskaya, after which a decision was made to evict the residents. It was later declared emergency and subject to demolition.

      The four-storey houses on Ilyich Avenue were built in the late 1930s. They are also in unsatisfactory technical condition and have therefore been declared emergency buildings.

      Earlier it was reported that a state of heightened readiness was introduced near emergency building No. 12 on Sutyrina Street in Sormovo.
