The governor of Nizhny Novgorod, Gleb Nikitin, commented in his Telegram channel on the nighttime UAV attack.
Recall that, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, from 23:30 on November 3 to 07:00 on the 4th, 20 Ukrainian fixed‑wing unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the region.
According to the head of the Nizhny Novgorod region, debris caused damage to three private houses and one apartment building. No one was injured.
"Specialists are working at the scene," added Governor Gleb Nikitin.
Earlier it was reported that, for safety reasons, the Nizhny Novgorod airport’s operations were temporarily suspended. Restrictions were lifted after 10:00.
Recall also that at a recent meeting of the Russian Security Council, Secretary Sergey Shoigu reported an increase in the number of UAV attacks in the Volga Federal District.
