      In Nizhny Novgorod the procedure has begun to expropriate the dilapidated two-story house No. 16 with its land plot on Batumskaya Street in the Karavaikha microdistrict. The corresponding decree was published on the city administration’s website.

      After an independent appraisal of the market value of the property, all unit owners will receive monetary compensation. The administration has been instructed to prepare and send owners draft agreements on the expropriation of the property after coordinating them with the relevant departments.

      The house on Batumskaya is part of the Karavaikha microdistrict resettlement program, where large-scale construction is planned. On the plot bounded by Gagarin Avenue and Batumskaya, 40 Years of October and Pyatigorskaya streets, work is underway to erect four multi-storey residential buildings. Earlier, Nizhny Novgorod residents were informed about the stage of the reconstruction of Dynamo Stadium in Nizhny Novgorod. The facility is 71% complete. At present the main work on the football field has already been completed: the final surface has been laid and markings applied. In addition, running tracks and jumping sectors have already been installed for athletes.
