      In the Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod on Shlisselburgskaya Street a fire occurred in which a GAZelle parked in a lot caught fire, the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

      The fire spread over an area of about 40 square meters. As a result, two GAZelles burned out completely, and three nearby passenger cars were damaged.

      Eighteen emergency service specialists took part in extinguishing the fire.

      According to preliminary data, the ignition may have been caused by a malfunction of the vehicle's systems or mechanisms.

      Earlier it was reported that in the village of Bolotnikova in the Vachsky District two people were burned alive in a fire.
