More than 1 billion rubles are to be allocated to social contracts with residents of Nizhny Novgorod in 2026.

      Economy: 1.17 billion rubles are planned to be spent on social contracts with Nizhny Novgorod residents in 2026. This is stated in the explanatory note to the draft regional budget, which was submitted to the Legislative Assembly on October 24.

      Of the total funding, 852.8 million rubles are planned to be allocated from the federal budget. The remainder will come from the regional treasury.

      An increase in spending on social contracts is also planned for subsequent years: in 2027 — 1.22 billion rubles, and in 2028 — 1.27 billion rubles.

      Note that for 2025 the budget provided more than 1.1 billion rubles for financing social contracts.
