Three medical workers in Nizhny Novgorod were awarded state honors.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin on 22 October 2025 signed a decree awarding outstanding medical workers from Nizhny Novgorod.
Sergey Romanov, director of the federal state-funded healthcare institution "Privolzhsky District Medical Center" (POMC), received the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", II class, for his contribution to the development of healthcare and many years of dedication to his work.
Vladimir Chiginev, head of the operating unit of the Research Institute — the B.A. Korolyov Specialized Cardiac Surgery Clinical Hospital, was awarded the Pirogov Order for significant achievements in the field of medicine and many years of conscientious service.
Svetlana Dzyubak, deputy director of the POMC, was granted the title "Honored Worker of Healthcare of the Russian Federation" in recognition of her outstanding merits in the field of healthcare.
Recall that by the same decree the head of the Gorodetsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Alexander Mudrov, was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", II class, and Natalia Tarabarina from the Pavlovsky District was awarded the honorary title "Mother Heroine".
