      Representative offices of Nizhny Novgorod IT companies are planned to open in the Republika Srpska. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Dmitry Starostin, TASS reports.

      According to him, the region is interested in expanding the presence of its technology enterprises abroad. Locating offices in Serbia is being considered as one of the steps to enter new international markets.

      "We understand that conditions there are as favorable as possible for this, and alongside exchanges of experience and various marketing opportunities we can move forward. We are betting on this," Starostin said.

      He also added that over the past three months active joint work had been carried out by a specialized working group that included representatives of the government of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and Serbian authorities.

      Consultations were held on a regular basis and covered a wide range of issues related to cooperation in various sectors.

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod Oblast plans to develop cooperation with Senegal.
