Nizhny Novgorod FC "Volna" has parted ways with head coach Renat Miftakhov.

Significant personnel changes have taken place at the football club "Volna", representing the Nizhny Novgorod region. The entire coaching staff, led by Renat Miftakhov, has left their positions.
This information was officially confirmed by the club president Denis Korablyov via the club account. He said: "We have parted ways with the current coaching staff and are beginning the search for a new one."
After 26 matches, Volna finished the season with 40 points, placing 7th in their group. The team is now on a winter break, during which a new staff is planned to be formed.
Denis Korablyov thanked Miftakhov and his team for their work and admitted that over these six months with them he had been through a lot, and, if anything, he cannot accuse them of a lack of commitment.
Recall that Renat Miftakhov, a product of Rubin Kazan's academy, took charge of the club at the beginning of June after head coach Oleg Makeev and his assistant Sergey Mukhotin were dismissed. The reason for that move was the team's poor run in the final rounds of the Second League.
