The leading districts for housing completions in the Nizhny Novgorod region have been named.

      October 24, 2025 17:59 Society According to the results for the first nine months of 2025, the leaders in housing commissioning in the Nizhny Novgorod Region were Nizhny Novgorod, the Kstovsky Municipal District, and the Bogorodsky Municipal District. The interim results of the implementation of the federal "Housing" project of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" were summed up at the Ministry of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. From January to September of this year, 739.3 thousand sq. m were commissioned in the territories of these municipalities — this is 59% of the total housing commissioning in the region. The leader in housing commissioning is Nizhny Novgorod with 447.8 thousand sq. meters; in second place is the Kstovsky Municipal District with 178.7 thousand sq. m. The Bogorodsky Municipal District ranks third: during the reporting period 112.8 thousand sq. m were commissioned in the municipality. "This year the federal project has set a plan for the Nizhny Novgorod Region to commission 1,728 thousand sq. meters of housing. Achieving this figure is possible thanks to the joint systematic work of the regional government and municipal authorities. An important factor in ensuring the necessary volumes of housing commissioning is the set of measures to increase the accessibility and efficiency of procedures for issuing permitting documentation both for construction and for putting facilities into operation," noted Dmitry Grunichev, Minister of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Developers in the Nizhny Novgorod Region can obtain construction permits and commissioning permits electronically. An application for the ministry’s public services and receipt of their results can be made via the "Developer’s Personal Account" based on the State Information System for Urban Development Activities (GISOGD). Permitting documentation can also be obtained on the Gosuslugi portal. In both cases only authorization through the Unified Identification and Authentication System (ESIA) is required.
