      On October 29 at 19:00 a public talk "The Immortality of Material" will take place in the cinema-concert hall of the Volga-Vyatka branch of the A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Arsenal). The speakers will discuss what "immortality" means for a material — its physical indestructibility, the possibility of reuse, or eternal life in humanity's cultural code. The organizers of the Biennale of Ecological Art report.

      The event will help consider materials not only from a scientific point of view, but also from philosophical, artistic and social perspectives. Such an approach allows a new look at the value of things and their place in culture.

      The speakers will be art historian Sabina Melnik, head of the department of foreign art at the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum, cultural scholar and curator of the exhibition "Dreams of Home" Darya Tkacheva, and energy manager at RusVinyl LLC Olga Timonina.

      The event is held as part of the educational program of the First International Biennale of Ecological Art with the support of Sibur — a partner in sustainable development.
