      In Nizhny Novgorod, investigators returned to its owner a car worth 13 million rubles that had been stolen in a robbery. The incident occurred in August when an unknown man wearing a balaclava stole a BMW from a 19-year-old resident of Nizhny Novgorod in an underground parking lot.

      According to the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the stolen vehicle was found by police a few hours after the crime near one of the buildings on Shalyapin Street. A 21-year-old suspect was detained by operatives in another region and is currently in custody.

      After the necessary investigative actions were completed, the expensive car, which had been material evidence in the criminal case, was handed over to the lawful owner for safekeeping.

      A criminal case has been opened on charges of robbery; the suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
