      - representation of the interests of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region before state bodies, law enforcement agencies and prosecutor’s offices — within the powers of the executive bodies supervised by him;

      - exercise of the powers of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in ensuring public, economic and information security, law and order, countering terrorism, extremism and corruption, and the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as organization and support of mobilization training and mobilization on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and ensuring the exercise of powers in the field of protection of information constituting state secrets;

      - organizational support for the activities of justices of the peace of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and their staffs, financial support of state notary offices and legal advisory services;

      - exercise of the powers of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region under the Agreement concluded between the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region on the transfer to the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the performance of certain powers for collecting information on the protection of the population and territories from emergencies and exchanging such information, organizing and conducting emergency rescue and other urgent work in emergency situations of intermunicipal and regional character, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 30, 2019 No. 2569-r;

      - implementation of the Concept for the construction and development of the hardware-software complex “Safe City”, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 3, 2014 No. 2446-r;

      - operational support for implementation of decisions of special importance and priority significance to ensure normal life activities affecting all spheres of life support of the population of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, other citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons lawfully present in the region may sign up for the reception if their issue has previously been reviewed on competence grounds and the personal participation of Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region A.V. Pavlov is required to make a decision on the merits of the appeal.
