On Saturday, October 25, a creative meeting with children's writer and artist Tamara Petrova-Nevskaya will be held at the Dzerzhinsk Local History Museum.
Tamara Igorevna was born in the Far North. She graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Art College (painting and teaching department). She worked for ten years as a teacher at the Dzerzhinsk Art School, and was then assigned to the art school in the settlement of Smolino as a teacher and director.
Throughout her creative career Tamara has held more than 20 solo exhibitions at city, district and regional levels. She is a participant in the regional exhibition "Great Volga."
Tamara took up poetry in her mature years. At first it was lyrical poetry, then humorous miniatures, and later cheerful children's verses, of which there are now about 300. Tamara illustrates her poems herself. Her books are very successful and are liked not only by young readers, but also by adults.
