      Residents of Nizhny Novgorod can hand over old computer, office and household equipment as part of the federal program "Recycling School: Electronics" of the Fund for Rational Natural Resource Use.

      As reported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, not only residents of the region but also budgetary organizations, including schools and hospitals, state and municipal authorities, their subordinate institutions and employees have the opportunity to hand over end-of-life electronic and electrical equipment for disposal free of charge. It is important that disposal is carried out in strict compliance with environmental protection legislation, with the provision of a full set of documents.

      The Fund will conduct a free expert assessment of the technical condition of the equipment (including medical equipment), and will also issue technical condition reports necessary for writing off the equipment. Accepted for disposal are not only old computers, printers and fax machines, but also refrigerators, air conditioners, power tools, machine tools, scientific and medical equipment, personal gadgets (excluding cartridges, uninterruptible power supplies, and equipment marked with the "radiation" sign).

      To participate in the program you need to register on the Fund's website in the "Electronics" section:

      https://eko-fond.ru/electronics/#register. After that the program curator will contact you at the email address provided during registration to conclude a gratuitous agreement. If an agreement has already been concluded in 2025, re-registration is not required; it is sufficient to send an application to the email: [email protected].

      "Recycling School: Electronics" also annually compiles a ranking of the most active and environmentally oriented institutions, which receive valuable gifts.
