Houses No. 17/18 and No. 19 on Nevzorovykh Street, which are part of the historic "Krasny Prosveshchenets" quarter, began to be demolished on 20 October. City residents report this on social media.
The demolition is being carried out by the investor LLC SZ "Nord-Invest", which won the tender for the right to conclude a contract for the comprehensive development of the territory (KRT) within the boundaries of Ashkhabadskaya — Genkina — Tverskaya streets in the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod.
As previously reported, residential high-rises will be built on the site of several demolished houses. The total area of the new development will exceed 30,000 square meters, of which 21,000 will be residential. In addition to residential buildings, a kindergarten is planned. The investor will also improve the public space.
Work to implement this KRT project must be completed within ten years from the date of signing the contract, that is, by 2034.
