The 33rd exhibition "Autumn Vernissage" (0+) opened at the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum — the largest and longest-running contemporary fine art project in the region.
The exhibition was organized with the participation of the regional branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. Following established tradition, painters, graphic artists, and masters of decorative, applied, and folk art are taking part in the exhibition. All works were created in recent years and reflect current trends in the artistic community.
This year "Autumn Vernissage" broke its own record: the exhibition features 382 works by more than 200 artists. The scale of the exhibition underscores the breadth of creative approaches and artistic solutions.
Visitors to the exhibition can see both innovative works by young artists who have recently joined the Union and pieces executed in the classical traditions of the Russian school. The exhibition juxtaposes bold abstractions, delicate lyrical landscapes, and complex multi-figure compositions.
