      Four people were injured in a collision between two cars in the Vyksunsky district, the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      According to law enforcement, the accident occurred on the evening of October 18 near house No. 1 on Sovetskaya Street in the work settlement of Shimorskoye. A 37-year-old driver of a Renault Logan lost control, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Lada Kalina driven by a 20-year-old driver.

      Four people were injured as a result of the collision. They were taken by ambulance to the Vyksunskaya Central District Hospital.

      The circumstances and causes of the incident are being investigated.

      Earlier, a fatal road accident was reported in the Kstovo district. A truck and a Gazelle collided on the M-7 "Volga" highway. As a result, one person died at the scene and another was hospitalized.
