The improvement of the Meshcherskoye Lake area in the form of a public-private partnership has been postponed indefinitely. This follows from a response by the regional Ministry of Economic Development to a request from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod."
As reported in March, the initiator of the concession initiative was the developer "FSK Region." The project envisaged a large-scale overhaul of the area. Along the shores it was proposed to create an amusement zone and install a Ferris wheel, improve the beaches, and create bike paths and walking routes.
It was noted that implementing the plan could take 1.5 years.
The editorial office contacted the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region to find out the fate of the project. They said the region remains interested in it. But given the current macroeconomic situation, they consider it appropriate to return to discussing the possibility of its implementation later.

Nizhny Novgorod necropolist Anatoly Moskvin explained why he collected the bodies of dead girls. His first interview, filmed by a roommate about a year ago, appeared online. The video is published by the Telegram channel SHOT.
Last week it became known that Moskvin may be discharged from the psychiatric hospital as early as next month. Over the year his condition has deteriorated significantly: his speech has slowed, and his vision has worsened. It was also reported that the necropolist can hardly walk.
In the published footage the necropolist looks lively and explains his actions by saying that he “stumbled in life because he really wanted a daughter.” In the interview he claims that a fiancée awaits him outside, to whom he supposedly transferred his apartment. As the source clarifies, a year ago Moskvin claimed that Satanists and witches live in Nizhny Novgorod, exhuming children’s graves.
