Bus operators are being sought in Nizhny Novgorod for long-term contracts.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, tenders have started for the servicing of several city bus routes at once. The customer is the State Public Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Center for the Development of Transport Systems." The total value of the contracts exceeds 118 million rubles. Some are planned for seven years, others for several months.

      The largest tender was for providing transportation on route No. 45. Its value is about 42 million rubles. Work will be carried out from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2032. Transportation is planned to be carried out by large and medium-class buses. The contract is divided into 91 stages.

      Three more long-term contracts concern routes No. 87 (26 million rubles), No. A-83 (32 million rubles) and No. 24 (about 16 million rubles). All of them are planned for the period from 2026 to 2032–2033 and envisage the use of medium-class buses. Each of them is also divided into 91 stages.

      In addition to the multi-year agreements, short-term tenders have also been announced. Thus, routes No. 39 and No. 42 will be serviced from November through December (inclusive) 2025. The budget of the first contract is about 2.3 million rubles, the second — 87 thousand rubles. In both cases, medium-class buses will be used.

      It was previously reported that Nizhny Novgorod plans to sign seven-year contracts for the operation of 11 city routes — Nos. 22, 24, 29, 36, 45, 55, 78, 82, 83, 87 and 91. This decision was made in accordance with an order of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Similar agreements had already been concluded earlier for eight routes: Nos. 5, 6, 18, 32, 34, 65, 81 and 88. The CRTS also noted that preparations for tenders on other agglomeration routes operating under regulated fares are continuing.
