Another humanitarian convoy was sent to the area of the special military operation. The aid is intended for 20 military units where servicemen from Nizhny Novgorod serve, as well as for hospitals. This was reported on his social media by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin.

According to him, 120 tonnes of cargo were sent. The shipment includes four vehicles, nine off‑road motorcycles and two snow‑and‑swamp all‑terrain vehicles. The package also contains building materials and tools necessary for arranging living conditions in the field.

The head of the region noted that the humanitarian convoy is not only material support, but also a symbol of solidarity and unity among people in their desire to support their fellow countrymen.

Nikitin paid particular attention to high‑tech equipment. He said that Nizhny Novgorod companies produce "Knyaz Pozharsky" drones, which are already acquiring legendary status. The governor also added that he spoke with the drone developers and instructed that a long‑term procurement order be formed to meet the needs of the military units.

He added that the dispatch of humanitarian aid took place on the eve of Father's Day. Nikitin emphasized that men endure heavy trials every day for the future of their country and families, and therefore it is important that they feel love and support from their relatives.

Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of the special military operation more than 750 humanitarian convoys with a total weight of over 4,700 tonnes have already been sent from the Nizhny Novgorod region.
