From October 20 to 26, the libraries of the Centralized Library System of the Avtozavodsky District invite you to Youth Book Week (12+) — a large-scale literary event about contemporary reading, new authors, and topical books.
During the week, the libraries have planned meetings with writers and poets, literary quizzes, tours, reviews of new releases, themed exhibitions, and book exchanges. Special emphasis will be placed on writers celebrating anniversaries in 2025 and debuts in contemporary literature.
In particular, the program includes a creative meeting with poet Dmitry Terentyev (October 23) and a lecture by existential-humanist psychotherapist Ekaterina Urusova (October 25).
All events are free and open to participants aged 12 and over.
We remind you that the first book fair was held in Nizhny Novgorod. It was opened by Vladimir Medinsky.
It was also reported that the Writers' House began operating in the restored cultural heritage site on Varvarka.
