The agricultural firm Iskra plans to build a farm for 2,400 dairy cattle in the Sosnovsky district. It signed a tripartite cooperation agreement at the agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn – 2025" together with the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources and the Nizhny Novgorod branch of Sberbank.

The regional Minister of Agriculture, Nikolay Denisov, said the project envisions construction of a free-stall farm with a milking and dairy unit and a maternity ward. According to him, the "Golden Autumn" exhibition is not only a year-end review but also the start of new initiatives. He noted that signing the agreement is an important step in the development of the region's dairy sector, especially under conditions of high-risk agriculture.

The head of the agricultural firm, Alexander Skvortsov, expressed confidence that the project's implementation will serve as an example for other agricultural producers. He emphasized that the new farm will make it possible to significantly increase production volumes, create jobs, improve the quality of life in rural areas and attract young professionals to the sector.

At present, Iskra already operates a 1,500-head farm in the village of Aleshovo in the Bogorodsky district. The specifications of the new facility are being developed.

The head of Sberbank’s regional branch, Natalya Demina, noted that supporting the agro-industrial complex is one of the financial institution's priorities.

Also at the exhibition another tripartite agreement was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, AgroKultura Techno LLC from Belarus and Perevozskie Seeds LLC. Under the cooperation, regional enterprises will receive Belarusian-bred seeds.

The development of the agro-industrial complex is the main goal of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier reports stated that at the XXVII Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn – 2025" (0+), more than 40 Nizhny Novgorod companies presented their products.
