      Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Evgeny Lyulin warned Nizhny Novgorod residents about a new scam. In his Telegram channel he said that unknown individuals are creating fake chats in the messenger titled "Legislative Assembly" and sending messages on his behalf.

      "If you are also being invited to 'discuss a few issues' in my name, know — these are scammers," Lyulin stressed.

      He also strongly advised not to click on the links sent, to immediately block such chats and to report them as spam.

      Scammers have repeatedly created fake accounts in Evgeny Lyulin's name. But more often the perpetrators pose as Governor Gleb Nikitin and also create a large number of deepfakes of him.
