      From October 13 to November 9, 2025, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, is holding the month-long "Light Up" campaign. The main goal of the event is to reduce the number of road traffic accidents involving pedestrians at night and to increase pedestrian visibility through the use of reflective elements. The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reminds parents that children, due to their psychophysiological characteristics, are not fully capable of recognizing risks and anticipating danger in a rapidly changing traffic environment.
