Nizhny Novgorod residents named a decent pension amount.

      Economy: Economically active residents of Nizhny Novgorod named what they consider a decent pension amount in a SuperJob survey.

      The study showed that a pension of 47,900 rubles per month is considered acceptable.

      Meanwhile, in February Nizhny Novgorod residents said a good pension is 48,200 rubles. A year ago, in June 2024, they mentioned the same 47,900 rubles, whereas in December 2023 participants in a similar survey named 45,000 rubles.

      Among metropolises with the highest demands, Moscow leads — 52,500 rubles. In second place is St. Petersburg with 51,900 rubles. The top five also include cities of the Far East and Siberia: Khabarovsk (50,100 rubles), Vladivostok (49,400 rubles) and Tyumen (49,500 rubles).

      It was reported that starting in 2026 the indexation of pensions in Russia will take place in two stages.
