      Nearly 38 million rubles will be spent on festive decorations in Nizhny Novgorod for the New Year and Christmas. This information is posted in the documentation on the official public procurement portal. The city budget has allocated 37.9 million rubles for the installation of light structures, the erection of Christmas trees and the decoration of key streets and bridges. The main focus is on Minin and Pozharsky Square, where the city’s main Christmas tree and 29 decorative trees are planned to be installed.

      New Year lights will also appear on the city’s bridges. In particular, 13 light installations will decorate Pokhvalinsky Descent, 15 will adorn Zelensky Descent, 20 will be placed on Vaneev Street, and 24 on Kominterna Street.

      Kananavinsky Bridge will receive 20 consoles in the shape of snowflakes and another 20 with New Year symbols. Forty similar light structures will be installed on the metro bridge.

      On Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street there will traditionally be a composition called “Christmas Angel,” and 61 LED console-type decorations will be mounted.

      Earlier it was reported that almost 5.7 million rubles were allocated for placing New Year posters in Nizhny Novgorod.
