Sergey Kashchenko has been appointed head of the Volga Electronic Customs.

      07 October 2025 18:25 Politics Sergey Kashchenko has been confirmed as head of the Privolzhskaya Electronic Customs. The corresponding decision was made by the head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Valeriy Pikalyev.

      Kashchenko began his service in the customs authorities in 2005. His professional path started with the position of state customs inspector at the Saratov post of the Saratov Customs.

      He later specialized in customs control at the Mineralovodsk Customs, and from 2009 to 2020 he headed a number of key posts: Pyatigorsk, Stavropol and Mineralovodsk.

      From 2020 to 2022 Kashchenko served as first deputy head of the North Caucasus Electronic Customs. After that he moved to the Privolzhsk Customs Administration, where he headed the Service for the Organization of Customs Control.

      Since July 2024 he had been acting head of the Privolzhskaya Electronic Customs, and on October 7, 2025 he was officially appointed to the position.

      Over the years Sergey Kashchenko has been repeatedly recognized with departmental awards. His record includes the medals "For Service in the Customs Authorities" of the III and II classes, the "For Diligence" and "Dmitry Bibikov" awards, as well as the "Excellence in Customs Service" badge.

      Earlier it was reported that Mikhail Kurenkov was appointed Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
