They want to extend Nizhny Novgorod's A-85 bus route.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, the possibility of extending bus route A-85 to the Kuznechikha Gorod residential complex (formerly the Novaya Kuznechikha housing complex) is being considered. The issue is currently under review by the regional Ministry of Transport, the Region’s Center for Transport Systems Development reported.

      Residents are actively interested in the development of transport links in the neighborhood. One local resident pointed out that construction in the area continues, the number of residents is growing, and public transport is becoming insufficient.

      "I would like a new route to be run to Avtozavod or to Shcherbinki," the woman wrote in her appeal.

      Currently bus A-85 runs from the Yug microdistrict at Avtozavod, goes along Novikova-Priboya Street, crosses the Myzinsky Bridge and proceeds to the Nitel plant in Shcherbinki.

      Recall that bus No. 79 is scheduled to be launched in Nizhny Novgorod in 2026.
