In Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod Region, applications are still being accepted for training at the new children's educational center "Kvantorium", built by the United Metallurgical Company (OMK). More than 600 schoolchildren have already expressed a desire to join classes at the technopark.

The greatest interest among prospective students is in the "IT-quantum", "ProRobo-quantum" and "Bio-Nano-quantum" directions — they top the list of the most in-demand specializations. The preliminary registration stage will continue until November 2025. It is necessary to assess demand for additional educational programs in the region and to form the first intake for the 2025–2026 academic year.

For now each child is allowed to choose only one field of study. This is a temporary measure to ensure access to classes for all who wish. Applications can be submitted by filling out a special form.

In the first months of operation Kvantorium will hold master classes, and full educational programs will start in January 2026. Preparatory work is currently being completed at the technopark: specialists are installing equipment, drawing up schedules and continuing to assemble the teaching staff.

The official opening of the center is scheduled for October 11. And on November 15–16 Kvantorium will host the children's science festival "Not-Boring Science" (6+).

Earlier it was reported that OMK announced a grant competition for teachers in Vyksa.
