The TV tower in Nizhny Novgorod will switch on festive lighting for Teacher's Day.

      In Nizhny Novgorod on October 5, in honor of Teacher's Day, the city TV tower will be lit with a festive illumination. The event will take place with the support of the regional Ministry of Education and the RTRS branch "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Radio and Television Transmitting Center."

      The illumination will operate from 19:30 to 21:30. During this time residents and visitors to the city will be able to see the tower's themed light design.

      The media facade will display images of autumn flowers — asters and chrysanthemums — as well as animation with golden foliage. The facets of the tower will be decorated with a dynamic pattern reminiscent of squared school notebook paper.

      In addition, the structure will broadcast the logo of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as the inscription: "October 5 – Teacher's Day."

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod residents will spend more than 3,000 rubles on gifts for teachers.
