On the night of October 4, departures and arrivals of aircraft at Nizhny Novgorod Chkalov International Airport were temporarily restricted.
According to Rosaviatsia, the "Kover" plan was enacted at 02:05. These measures were in effect until 7:00 a.m.
The agency explained that the restrictions were necessary to ensure flight safety.
Earlier it was reported that residents of Nizhny Novgorod were reminded of safety rules in the event of a drone attack.
