Total wage arrears in the Nizhny Novgorod region exceeded 200 million rubles.

      In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as of the end of August 2025, the total wage arrears at enterprises not classified as small businesses amounted to 201.02 million rubles. Nizhegorodstat provides the latest data on its website.

      According to the published information, the wage arrears are recorded for two separate divisions of a single enterprise. The name of the organization is not disclosed.

      At the same time, in the first six months of 2025, 987 organizations in the region reported a combined profit of 226.03 billion rubles. It is noted that this is 13.8% less than in the corresponding period of 2024.

      Recall that a Nizhny Novgorod construction company, as of August 2025, owed employees 21 million rubles.
