The student IT Core festival will be held in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On 23–24 October, the student IT festival IT Core (18+) will take place at the Sakharov "Mayak" Academy, the organizers reported.

      The festival will bring together about 350 in-person participants — IT students, young industry specialists and university representatives. The program includes expert sessions with presentations, panel discussions and practical workshops. There will also be meetings with top managers to discuss career opportunities and real-world examples of work in the IT field.

      Among the new features are hackathons where participants will be able to present their projects to experts.

      The key event will be a discussion titled "Training IT Personnel to Ensure the Country's Sovereignty" with the participation of Evgeny Abakumov, Director of Information and Digital Technologies at Rosatom, and representatives of leading technical universities. Topics to be discussed include the implementation of artificial intelligence, robotization and practical examples of digital transformation.

      In addition to the business program, interactive formats are planned. The program includes the exhibition "Pride. Inspiration. Dream" (6+), timed to the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry, as well as play areas with quests, quizzes and virtual competitions.

      Following the festival, the best participant projects will be recommended for further implementation.

      Recall that in August a scientific and artistic exhibition "Atom. Future" (6+) opened in the Volga capital.
