The vehicle fleet of the Rosseti Centre and Privolzhye branch — Nizhnovenergo — has been replenished with 16 new high‑mobility UAZ‑Patriot vehicles. The keys to the cars were handed over by the director of the Nizhnovenergo branch, Dmitry Fedorov.
The vehicles will be assigned to the Shakhunsky, Borsky, Arzamassky, Shatkovsky, Pochinkovsky, Sokolsky, Bogorodsky, Vachsky, Vyksunsky, Diveyevsky, Perevozsky, Sergachsky, Lyskovsky, Semyonovsky, Chkalovsky and Bolshemurashkinsky districts of the electric grids.
The all‑wheel‑drive UAZ‑Patriot vehicles have good technical characteristics, easily handle difficult sections of road surfaces and will allow personnel, together with all necessary equipment, to be delivered to any location for scheduled and restoration works. This is especially relevant during the autumn‑winter period and in difficult weather and road conditions.
Today the branch operates about 1,280 vehicles. In 2025, 30 new cars have already been purchased and another 31 units of cars and special equipment are expected to arrive.
"An important component of the branch’s production activities is the renewal of the existing vehicle fleet and the acquisition of new units of automotive equipment, because the prompt fulfillment of tasks to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers depends directly on this. I am confident the new vehicles will increase the efficiency of production work and will be useful not only to us, the power engineers, but also to the residents of the region we serve," said Dmitry Fedorov, director of the Rosseti Centre and Privolzhye branch — Nizhnovenergo.
