Nizhny Novgorod residents submitted more than 6,000 applications for free training as part of the national project "Personnel".

      More than 6,300 applications for free training under the national project "Personnel" were submitted by residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region by the end of the first three quarters of 2025. Of them, 2,300 people have already completed the courses, and another 1,400 Nizhny Novgorod residents are currently taking the selected programs.

      Among the most popular directions are programs such as "Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence for Solving Applied Organizational Tasks," "Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Field of Culture," "Data Analyst," "Tour Guide," "Seamstress," and "1C-Programmer."

      "Altogether, under the national project 'Personnel' more than 45 educational programs are available for selection in the region, reflecting the current needs of the regional economy. The breadth of directions allows people to find a course according to their interests: from digital competencies to professions in tourism and skilled trades. Anyone can fulfill their dream and choose who to become: a seamstress, a web designer, a programmer or, for example, a hotel manager," said Igor Pantiukhin, head of the Department for Labor and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Training is conducted in a convenient blended format combining in-person and remote study using modern distance technologies and is aimed at a wide range of citizens.

      "Mothers on maternity leave, young people under 35, the unemployed, pre-retirement-age people and pensioners, people with disabilities, participants in the special military operation and their family members can join the training. It is important that Nizhny Novgorod residents have the opportunity to master a new profession for free and thereby radically change their lives," emphasized Lyudmila Egorova, director of the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center "Rabota Rossii."

      After completing the training, all graduates receive a document of the established form: a certificate of profession or a certificate of professional development. The full list of programs is available on the "Rabota Rossii" platform.

      Recall that since 2025, at the instruction of President Vladimir Putin, the national project "Personnel" has been in effect in Russia. It includes four federal projects: "Labor Market Management," "Active Employment Assistance Measures," "Education for the Labor Market," and "The Working Person." The activities of the national project are aimed at preparing personnel efficiently and promptly to meet employers' needs through the coordinated work of educational institutions, companies and the state.
