      October 1, 2025, 13:56 The company "Nizhny Novgorod Vodokanal" has ceased to exist as a separate legal entity. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, as of September 30 the enterprise was reorganized by being merged into JSC "Teploenergo".

      The merger of the two utility providers began back in November 2022. At that time a decision was made to consolidate "Teploenergo" and "Nizhny Novgorod Vodokanal" to simplify management and synchronize key processes. These included implementing the investment program, upgrading engineering networks, organizing procurement, and landscaping and restoring areas after repair work.

      Since 2023, "Teploenergo" has effectively acted as the management company for the Vodokanal. Last year the enterprise was headed by Dmitry Sivokhin. He was appointed after the arrest of the previous director, Ilya Khalturin.
