The Nizhny Novgorod cable car will switch to its winter schedule on October 1.

      28 September 2025 16:50 Society — The cable car connecting Nizhny Novgorod and the town of Bor will switch to winter operating hours from October 1, the carrier company that operates the route reported.

      Under the new schedule, from Monday to Thursday the cable car will run from 6:45 to 21:00. On Fridays and Saturdays the cabin service will end one hour earlier — at 20:00.

      On Sundays and public holidays the crossing will be open from 9:00 to 22:00.

      In addition, a technical break has been added to the schedule. It will take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:45 to 13:00 — during this time specialists will carry out scheduled maintenance.

      Earlier it was reported that the cable car connecting Nizhny Novgorod and Bor carried almost 1.5 million people in the four months after its upgrade.
