In the first half of October, a noticeable increase in geomagnetic activity is expected in the Nizhny Novgorod region, reports my-calend.ru.
The first disturbances are forecast for the night of October 2. Then by the night of October 5 a moderate storm will hit the region, the effects of which will last about a day. After that the situation will begin to gradually improve.
On the evening of October 10 activity will rise again and persist until the following night. However, small disturbances will be observed for another two days.
Recall that geomagnetic storms can affect wellbeing. People with cardiovascular diseases and those who are overweight are at risk. The most common symptoms during geomagnetic storms are sleep disturbances, headaches and a general loss of strength; spikes in blood pressure are possible.
Earlier it was reported that residents of Nizhny Novgorod experience more than two thousand geomagnetic storms in their lifetime.
