      From January–August 2025 industrial production in the Nizhny Novgorod Region showed positive dynamics: the composite index amounted to 100.1% of the level of the first eight months of last year. In the region's key manufacturing sectors the indicator reached 100.9%, reported the region's Minister of Industry, Maxim Cherkasov, on his Telegram channel.

      Output of metal products, as well as coke and petroleum products, increased by more than a third. Production of machinery and equipment rose by 13.4%.

      According to Cherkasov, fixed capital investment grew by 18.4% and amounted to 74.8 billion rubles.

      Earlier it was reported that construction readiness of the "Technopark H2O" in the Kulibin SEZ exceeded 90%.

      It also emerged that the Nizhny Novgorod Region ranked 15th in the number of high-productivity jobs.
