      The Russian national figure skating team will compete in uniforms created by Nizhny Novgorod's "Khokhloma." The cooperation agreement covers the entire 2025/2026 sports season.

      A collection of gear in the craft's traditional colors — black, red, gold, and white — was prepared for the team. The latter color symbolizes the winter sport and is associated with the ice rink.

      The lineup includes tracksuits, jackets, fleece tops, T-shirts, hats and scarves. All items are decorated with elements of Khokhloma painting, including the "kudrina" motif.

      Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that this cooperation is of particular value to the region. He emphasized that Khokhloma is a symbol and a source of pride for the region, and that figure skating has always been associated with "golden victories." According to him, it is symbolic that a brand based on the image of gold will now accompany Russian athletes and become part of new achievements.
