Bastrykin has taken an interest in the torture of children by their female peers in Bor.

      The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a report to be presented on the progress of the criminal case opened after reports of cruel treatment of children in the Borsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the agency’s press service.

      Recall that earlier media reports said a group of underage girls systematically beat and robbed their peers and younger children. The teenagers recorded their actions on video.

      The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Nizhny Novgorod region opened a criminal case under the article “Torture.” The prosecutor’s office also joined the investigation and began its own inquiry.

      Bastrykin instructed the head of the regional Investigative Committee department, Ayrat Akhmetshin, to report on the facts already established and the current status of the investigation.

      Earlier it was reported that at School No. 117 in Nizhny Novgorod a student was made to kneel and forced to apologize on camera for bad behavior. This educational institution had already featured in criminal reports. In March, one of the students attacked two classmates right in class because of a prolonged conflict.
