According to the agency, the incident occurred during the morning rounds on September 24. A man who was being escorted from the procedure room to a ward suddenly became aggressive. He attacked two orderlies and struck them on the head. It was so sudden that the women did not have time to defend themselves.
The injured were urgently transferred to another medical facility to receive necessary care. Labor inspection specialists are awaiting medical conclusions on the severity of the injuries sustained by the orderlies.
The agency is also establishing the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, there were reports of an attack with a pistol on a bus driver in Nizhny Novgorod.
