The contest to choose the best driver and conductor of public transport has concluded in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Center for Transport Systems Development.
First place among Nizhny Novgorod drivers was won by Ekaterina Raspravina. She drives the electric bus on route E-13. One third of the 309 passengers who took part in the vote preferred her.
Passengers noted Raspravina’s professional qualities: safe driving, politeness, and special attention to elderly people. Route E-13 connects the Shcherbinki bus terminal with Minin and Pozharsky Square. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50,000 rubles, and a special flag will adorn the cab of her electric bus. The same award will go to the best conductor of the year, Lyudmila Nuzhnina, who works on bus route No. 26.
