      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a criminal case has been opened over the beating of children by teenagers. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

      According to the program “Kstati,” several attacks on children occurred in the Borsky district. Two 12-year-old girls rob apartments and brutally beat young children. The youngest victim of the perpetrators is only seven years old. The teenagers record their abuses on video. The footage shows the girls kicking the children and pulling their hair.

      The head of the regional Investigative Committee, Ayrat Akhmetshin, ordered a criminal case to be opened under the charge of “torture.” Investigators are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. The regional prosecutor’s office is also monitoring the progress of the investigation. The agency will check compliance with legislation on the prevention of neglect and juvenile offenses.
